Time in the Sun

When you are caught unexpectedly in the sun for four hours, without an option to leave your location, what would you do with your time?  Textures in plain sight became the subject of my hours spent waiting to get into my locked truck.

 Lessons learned:
  • don't lock the keys in the truck,
  • don't forget to see what you are looking at, and
  • don't forget to keep your camera in your hand when you leave your vehicle (you never know how handy it will become).

It was fun taking these pictures.  Finding the variety of textures was fun.  I now have these to show for it, a bit of sunburn, and a whole array of new freckles.  Lessons learned and applied well.

  2. It takes a practiced eye to see the beauty in simple objects. You have captured each photo in such a beautiful way. Thanks for sharing.
